Frequently Asked Questions

How do I check if I fall into the LTE-A coverage area?

A coverage map is provided on the Python website for you to check your coverage, enter the physical address (where the service is required) into the coverage map and if you have coverage in your area, the colour will be blue-green as per the key in the bottom left hand corner of the map. No coverage in your area is represented by no colour over the map.

What if I fall just out of the coverage area, can I still purchase the LTE-A service?

We do not recommend that you purchase LTE-A. Keep checking the coverage map and purchase LTE-A when your area falls within coverage. Should you decide to purchase LTE-A for your area that is not within coverage, Python will not be able to assist you with LTE-A connectivity related issues.

How do I Top Up my account?

If your monthly data has depleted you will be redirected to the Python payment gateway page, from here you will be able to top up your account with a Data Bundle ranging from 1GB to 20GB which is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

What is the validity period on Add On Data Bundles?

Add On Data bundles are valid for 30 days, from date of purchase. For example, if you purchase a top up data bundle on 7th June, the bundle will expire on the 7th July.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my package?

Yes, you will be able to migrate between packages i.e. upgrade or downgrade. You will need to log in to your account on the Python portal and click on “My Services”. Select the service that you wish to change and select the Upgrade/Downgrade tab. Continue by selecting the required package to complete the process.

Can I carry over my monthly inclusive data value?

No, any unused monthly inclusive data will be forfeited at the end of the calendar month. For example if you sign up on 25th June on a 35GB package, any unused Data will be forfeited at 30 June 23:59. The inclusive data relevant to your package will start again from the beginning of the month.

What is the order or prioritization of data depletion?

Monthly inclusive data will deplete first, followed by top up data.

Will I be able to connect to the Internet if I insert my LTE-A SIM into another device?

No, the LTE-A SIM and Router are configured and linked following the purchase of the service and therefore work as a single unit.
